Dancing Dragonfly Bed & Breakfast, is open but under new restrictions that are in accordance with the Wisconsin Health and Human Service Department "Guidance for Preparing Lodging Places to Reopen" May, 2020. I will only have three guest rooms rented at a time and breakfast will be reduced to Coffee/tea and fresh-baked scones or muffins. Guests will still have access to the front parlor and front porch where six-foot social distancing can be comfortably experienced. Face/cloth coverings will be required when entering the home, surgical gloves are offered at the front door for your use. Door County is still not witnessing a decline in positive Covid-19 cases, so I ask that when guests leave the house they continue to wear their face mask in public settings where more than five individuals may be encountered. Once guests check-out I will fully sanitize the room/bathroom, and any social rooms occupied during their visit. As an extra step of precaution, I will then quarantine the room for 24 hours before allowing the next reservation. To accommodate this extra level of health safety, it will be easier for guests to call me directly to make the reservation, thus ensuring the 24 quarantine period is maintained. I will do whatever I can to make your stay comfortable physically, emotionally and mentally in these trying times. Take care, live wisely, and have grace when needed most. David
P.S. When I was a medic in the US Navy I assisted Dr Fauci regarding the developement of a US Navy Response to the HIV/Aids epidemic. At Bethesda Naval Hospital I was the first point of contact for all positive tested navy personnel, as well as their point of contact throughout the implementation of their individual medical support plan while still in active duty military status.
The Dancing Dragonfly is a quaint three-bedroom bed & breakfast just a short walk from historic Sturgeon Bay's downtown with plenty of shopping and take-out dining, and walks along the waterfront or over the two draw-bridges. When you arrive I'll help you plan your visit to Door County with over 101 things to see and do.
Begin your day with fresh brewed coffee or tea in your private room or on the sunny porch. Then get out there and enjoy Door County, while maintaining the 6-foot social distancing. When you return, you can relax in the front parlor with a glass of the local wine or a cup of tea on the front porch with its own giant porch swing. The porch has been rearranged to provide for three separate sitting areas that comfortably accommodate the 6-foot social distancing presently encouraged throughout Door County.
