Dancing Dragonfly Bed & Breakfast, is still open but under new restrictions that are in accordance with the Wisconsin Health and Human Service Department Guidelines for Bed and Breakfasts, dated March 20, 2020. I will only have one guest room rented at a time and breakfast will still be served at the main table. Six-foot social distancing will be maintained throughout the house. You will still have access to public rooms - sunroom, dining room, and front parlor as well as the room rented. Surgical gloves will be required upon entering the house and available for guests for when they are out and about and still maintaining the 6-foot social distance code. Once the guests check-out I will fully sanitize the room/bathroom, and any social rooms occupied during the visit. As an extra step of precaution, I will then self quarantine the house for 72 hours before allowing the next reservation. To accommodate this extra level it will be easier for guests to call me directly to make the reservation, thus ensuring the 72 isolation period is maintained. I will do whatever I can to make your stay comfortable physically, emotionally and mentally in these trying times. Take care, live wisely, and have grace when needed most. David
P.S. When I was a medic in the US Navy I assisted Dr Fauci regarding the developement of a US Navy Response to the HIV/Aids epidemic. At Bethesda Naval Hospital I was the first point of contact for all positive tested navy personnel, as well as their point of contact throughout the implementation of their individual medical support plan while still in active duty military status.
Formerly known as The Reynolds House, the Dancing Dragonfly is a quaint four-bedroom bed & breakfast just a short walk from historic Sturgeon Bay's downtown with plenty of shopping and take-out dining, and walks along the waterfront or over the two draw-bridges. Help yourself to homemade cookies when you arrive, and I'll help you plan your visit to Door County with over 101 things to see and do.
Retire to the third floor suite with its own living room and huge private bathroom with a walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub. Awake refreshed, and begin your day with fresh brewed coffee or tea in your private room or the sunroom. Then enjoy a scrumptious two course gourmet breakfast before setting out to explore Door County, while maintaining the 6-foot social distancing. When you return, you can relax in front of a warm fire in your own living room with a glass of the local wine or a cup of tea on the front porch with its own giant porch swing.
Every day at the Dancing Dragonfly is a truly unique and memorable experience, and don't forget to bring your slippers or flip-flops - you'll feel that at home.
